About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading commercial real estate company, is seeking a full-time Project Manager to oversee a wide range of construction and capital projects across office, retail, and industrial properties.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in tenant services, construction management, or project management, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to lead projects from start to finish.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage tenant improvement and capital upgrade projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Coordinate with tenants, contractors, consultants, and internal teams
  • Review lease agreements to confirm landlord and tenant obligations
  • Oversee project budgeting, estimating, procurement, RFPs, and scheduling
  • Submit and track municipal permit applications and inspections
  • Monitor timelines, financials, and risk to ensure successful delivery
  • Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate documentation and project reporting

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial project management or construction (office, retail, or industrial)
  • Education in Construction Management, Architecture, or Project Management (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong understanding of lease agreements, estimating, RFP processes, municipal permitting, and vendor management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Willing to work occasional evenings or weekends when project timelines require
  • PMP certification is an asset, but not required

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

  • Commercial Construction: 3 years (required)
  • Project Management: 5 years (preferred)
  • Procurement: 3 years (preferred)
  • Commercial Real Estate: 3 years (required)

Language:

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class 5 Driving Licence (required)
