We’re seeking a resourceful, detail-focused professional to oversee a variety of construction and renovation projects from planning to completion. This role blends field oversight with office-based coordination, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while creating a smooth experience for occupants moving into new or renovated spaces.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary link between project stakeholders, design teams, and construction crews.
  • Review and distribute design drawings, technical documents, and specifications to the appropriate teams.
  • Keep all project files organized, including contracts, drawings, change notices, and inspection records.
  • Monitor work on-site to confirm progress, quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
  • Develop project scopes and request-for-proposal packages to secure accurate bids from contractors.
  • Compare proposals, analyze costs, and recommend the most competitive and suitable bids.
  • Coordinate and track all project milestones, inspections, and approvals.
  • Prepare progress updates, payment requests, and deficiency reports.
  • Ensure all work aligns with applicable codes, safety standards, and building requirements.
  • Facilitate a seamless transition for incoming tenants or occupants by coordinating final inspections and resolving outstanding issues.

Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in construction coordination, project management, or a related technical field.
  • Post-secondary education in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar discipline.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
  • Skilled at organizing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and problem-solving under pressure.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently when required.
  • PMP certification or progress toward it is considered an asset.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 3 weeks vacation
  • Potential for contract extension and/or move to permanency
