Salary Range: $40,000 – $46,000 per year
Are you a problem solver with a strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills? On behalf of our client, we are seeking a energetic Maintenance Technician (MT) in Winnipeg! As the MT, you will be responsible for conducting scheduled, preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance tasks. You will also maintain tools and equipment, supervise vendors and contractors, and ensure that all maintenance records and documentation are kept up to date. In addition, you will manage stock, maintenance supplies, and complete regular inventories while ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in maintenance or handyman work
- Hospitality experience is an asset
- 5th class power engineering certificate is an asset
- Previous construction and plumbing experience is a plus
Skills:
- Ability to problem-solve and deliver high-level customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with smartphone and tablet technology
