Salary: $40,000.00 – $48,000.00/year
Join a thriving team as a Maintenance Technician where your skills and experience will be utilized to the fullest! In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the building and its equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting scheduled, preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance tasks
- Maintaining tools and equipment, and supervising vendors and contractors
- Providing access control to authorized service personnel
- Keeping maintenance records, files, and documentation up to date
- Managing stock, maintenance supplies, and completing regular inventories
- Ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Responding to inquiries, feedback, or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in maintenance or handyman work
- Hospitality experience is an asset
- 5th class power engineering certificate is an asset
- Previous construction and plumbing experience is a plus
Skills:
- Ability to problem-solve and deliver high-level customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with smartphone and tablet technology
Other Requirements:
- Ability to lift at least 30 kilograms
