Full job description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled, preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and serviced regularly.
- Supervise vendors and contractors
- Provide access control for service personnel when an entry has been authorized.
- Ensure maintenance records, files, and documentation are maintained.
- Maintain stock, maintenance supplies, and complete regular inventories.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries, feedback, or concerns.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 years Maintenance or Handyman experience
- Hospitality experience would be considered an asset
- Previous construction experience is an asset
- Previous plumbing experience would be considered an asset
- Minimum 5th Class Power Engineering Certification
- Ability to problem solve and provide high-level customer service.
- Strong communications skills both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with smartphone and tablet technology
Other
- Must be able to lift at least 30 kilograms.
