Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of mixed-use office and retail properties across the Greater Vancouver area. This is a high-visibility leadership role that offers both operational responsibility and long-term growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations across a mixed portfolio of office and retail sites.
  • Lead contractor relationships, site teams, and support staff to ensure consistent service delivery and tenant satisfaction.
  • Oversee repairs, maintenance programs, tenant coordination, and third-party contracts.
  • Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets; conduct monthly variance analysis.
  • Track and report on income, expenses, and net operating performance.
  • Address tenant concerns, lease obligations, and occupancy matters professionally and promptly.
  • Monitor receivables and proactively address arrears in coordination with internal teams.
  • Support leasing and capital project initiatives as required.
  • Respond to emergency calls on a rotational basis (including after-hours support).

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial (office and retail) assets.
  • Strong understanding of building operations, tenant retention, and budget accountability.
  • Confident communicator with a calm, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assets or a large, complex site.
  • Working knowledge of industry compliance standards and local legislation.
  • Prior exposure to capital planning, construction coordination, or sustainability initiatives is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in real estate, business, or a related discipline.
  • Industry certifications considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general comfort with digital reporting tools.
